Nirmiti is an initiative started by Vivekanand Dhakane during COVID-19 lockdown at his village Shevgaon to make electronics learning affordable, simple and language-independent for students from childhood to Engineers and hobbyists. SINE IIT Bombay funded the initial prototype work under the Nidhi Prayas program developed by the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. Nirmiti offers a Micro-controller board, Multi-function Base shield board, Easy-to-use IDE for embedded C, and block-based visual coding functionality. What's unique is that users can program the Nirmiti board using their native language.
Completed B.Tech in E&TC from College of Engineering, Pune. Currently persuing M.Tech in SSD (Solid State Devices) from Indian Institute of Technology , Bombay.
